I was getting a little bored of the old blog design…. What do you think? Not sure if its a little too white, but it’s summer so I guess it will do for the rest of the season. 
Here’s a couple shots from a visit to Sayville recently.
I went to the Huntington Tulip Festival today, even though it was raining. I wasn’t able to get too much before the downpour. I have a couple of images that I think came out pretty well. I’m going to try my hand at that photo contest, but I want your help. Of these two images, which do you prefer?

It’s supposed to rain all weekend. I hope it lets up a bit for the festival this Sunday, that would be disappointing, since this would be the 1st year in about 6 years that I would actually be able to make it there without work getting in the way. It would figure it would rain.
Also slightly disappointing, the Starbucks by me is closing down after next week. Now I’ll have to travel a bit farther for coffee and free wifi.

Another brilliant day. I think it reached around 86 degrees today. It’s hot, and it’s not even summer yet! Went for a walk around downtown Port Jefferson for a little while.. Turns out there was an antiques show there so we took a look around. I was able to sneak a few shots in so I think it turned out to be a pretty nice day.

Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th! I had a quiet night at home with The Boy, and the katzen. It was a much needed rest.
Got out and about with my Lensbaby this past week. I haven’t dusted that little guy off in a while, and thought it was about time I started using it again. I forgot how fun it was.
